Reverend Ruben A. Morales is a lifelong Houstonian, husband and father of two children. He is best described as a firm yet funny and powerful man of God. Reverend Morales worked as a Deputy Sheriff with the Harris County Sheriff's Department from the year 1990 to the year 2020 but it was in the year 2001, while still patrolling the streets of Harris County, Reverend Morales answered the divine call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. At that time Reverend Morales was a member in good standing of the Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy Texas. Over time Reverend Morales' thirst for God was seen clearly through his humble service and diligent study of all things Christ. Eventually his devoutness gave sufficient evidence to Pastor Alex B. Morrison of Houston Christway Ministries (HCM) to license him to preach the gospel on April 14, 2002. There Reverend Morales preached the gospel and served in a variety of other capacities. He also developed a passion for street evangelism and caring for the needs of Houston's homeless community. Continuing his journey, Reverend Morales moved on to serve as the Assistant Pastor at the Cornerstone of Faith Community Church in North West Harris County. In 2004 Reverend Morales was once again lead to step out on faith, and establish Holy Lion of Judah Christian Ministries. After adequate examination in regards to the Christian experience and views of bible doctrine, on September 11, 2005 Reverend Morales was solemnly and publicly set apart and ordained to the work of the Gospel ministry. Today Reverend Ruben A. Morales continues his growth and service through biblical education, outreach ministerial endeavors and pastoral experience and he remains committed and passionate about lifting up the Mighty name of Jesus first and foremost, while declaring the word of God to any and all as God allows.
